Use and Application Scope
High-weir spiral classifier is a classifying facility. It makes use of the principle that settling velocity of solid particles varies in the liquid due to different sizes and different gravities. Fine mineral particles swim in the water and overflow while coarse ones sink onto the bottom of the trough, and are discharged from the top under a spiral pushing force. It is a classifying device achieving mechanical classification. This machine is extensively used in ore dressing plants to form a closed circulation flow to separate ore sand in different stages, or used in gravity mills to classify ore sand and fine silt, and also used in ore dehydration and material delivery.
